Be wary of used equipment houses. You want to actualt run what your buying, and don't fall for all the promises made - unless they are first in writing. I've seen people burned all to often. Also - even after running you wand to inspect the screws and barrel by measuring them and checking the measurements with the OEM.

Believe me, this could be a very costly investment. Be on the lookout for "special deals" as they may be suckering you into something that don't work, or the most common excuse - "I don't have the right power here to hook it uo and run".

I feel that a re-post of a reply is necessary as there are many reputable Used Equipment Dealers out there, as well as private Company's just trying to sell their excess equipment.

I still hold pat on trying any used equipment out first though.

If dealing internationally, you want to also make sure that the voltages there are transformable to the voltages where you are, as well as looking at the wiring colors. Some abroad are wired with all black wiring, and if they "chop" the bundle without marking each and every wire before shipping, you'll have a nightmare to boot.
