A: Bare wire rod to bunched conductor cell consisting of:
1. SAMP 13 die Tandem rod breakdown machine (new 1995) Enter 8.0 mm copper, exit 1.45mm to 1.18mm at max speed of 25 M/s. 265 KW DC Main drive, 43 Kw finish capstan drive. Line dancer. 820mm vertical drop coiler with floor powered chain conveyor.
2. (2) two SAMP 14-wire Multi-wire drawing machine lines (new 1995) 21 dies 2X7, max copper inlet 1.8mm, exit 14 X 0.16mm to 0.255mm, 141 Kw DC main drive, 2000 amp 14 wire annealer , 36 KW DC annealer capstan drive, pneumatically controlled line dancer, 630mm static spooler with 3 position conveyor suitable for 500 to 630 mm spools (700 kg max capacity).(14) wire auto changeover payoff stations to accommodate (28) stem baskets with dancer accumulator for machine entry.
3. (8) eight SAMP 630 mm double twist bunchers (new 1995), 6000 tpm, 0.10mm^2 to 6.0 mm^2 strand or cable, 400 to 630 mm take up bobbin (650 kg max capacity).
4. Combined multiwire / rod breakdown drawing and annealing emulsion and cooling water system (new 1995), including water cooling system, holding tanks, filters, heat exchangers and controls.
B Insulating /Jacketing extrusion line manufacturing cell consisting of:
1. (4) four 4-1/2" 24 to 1 Entwistle Thermoflite extruders, compound systems with vacuum loaders and dryers, (1) 30", (2) 36" and (1) 50"dual take ups,(3) with 150 HP DC drives, (1) with 100 Hp., dual 24" to 36" capstans, (2) 36" or dual flyoff 30"payoffs, line testers, in line laser measuring devices, troughs, regrind systems.
2. (4) four 3-1/2" 24 to 1 Entwistle extruders, compound systems with vacuum loaders and dryers, (1) 30" and (3) 36" dual takeups, (3) with 100 HP DC drives, (1) with 75 HP Drive, 24" to 36" dual capstans, (2) 36" or 30"dual cone flyoff payoffs, line testers, in line laser measuring devices, troughs, regrind systems.
3. (1) one Royle #2 2-1/2" 24 to 1 extruder, compound system with vacuum loader and dryer, dual 30" take-up,50 HP drive, dual cone payoff, laser measuring system, dual wheel capstan, spark tester.
C. Single twist cabling and respool cell consisting of:
1. (11) assorted Cook / Entwistle Model BH-30, BH36, SC30V, SC36V, STC30 cablers, (5) 36" and (6) 30".
2. (1) TEC Model 36STC cabler. (new 1995).
3. (2) 36" to 12" rewind lines, (1) with Allen Bradley 550 PLC Control.
4. (1) 36" respooler line with variable speed control and Heustis CJS1000L stripper
