Does anyone know of popular sites to openly buy and sell resin? I'm looking for the kind of site where I can list a single box of unused resin or additives for sale. Thanks, Tom C

Tom: Other than Plasticsnews advertising, I know of no one favorite site. As all well knows though, advertising is very very expensive. However, you pose an interesting message and an unknowing solution. Perhaps a tread in this forum can be dedicated to such a site. You could call it F-Bay (FeedScrewDesigns.com)? IP: Logged |

G'day TomI've come across several sites that offer the sort of service you describe. Try Polysort for starters http://www.polysort.com/spot_exchange/spot_exchange.aspx I'll have a browse through my bookmarks and dig up some more. Steve H IP: Logged |

Thanks Steve.I had checked out Polysort, but it did not seem as open a process as I would like. They collect a fee from the seller, and control the sale. The list of active sellers on the spot market also seems very small. Thanks for any other names. Tom C

I was trying to avoid mentioning this, but my company is associated with a web site that does this type of spot market trading. The web site is not very active, but at least it is something to work with that I can't readily find elsewere. It is all free to buyer and sellers, so I don't feel too bad about giving it a plug. The site actually works well and is attractive. Even so I have materials I would like to sell so if anyone has a better website to suggest, please do. www.polymermarketplace.com Thanks, Tom C IP: Logged |

Shameless plug Tom But hey, a good site. Might have to have a nose round the store and dig up some surplus stock to try and flick off. Thanks for telling us about it.Steve H IP: Logged |

Thanks Tom C. Something told me you might have an ACE up your sleeve. I'll be sure to alert out Purchasing people on this site, as we have much to look for and get rid of too.IP: Logged |
