Hello,

I'm a new member on this forum and I hope we can all get along really well and share our experience in this industry... so, first of all, I'm Jonathan, 24 years old and I live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic... the main area of experience I have is with plastic bags manufacturing; I've been working as a mechanic for all involved machinery (Extruders, Pelletizers, Printers, Bag Making, Compressors) for 3 years now (but I've been involved in this industry since 2000)and recently got a promotion as Maintenance Engineer (I've got a degree in Mechanical Engineering)... I've not gotten a formal education on polymer properties and pelletizer and extruder design and I would really enjoy to pick your brains up so I can learn more about these machineries , also, anything I can help with, I will gladly do so...

Cheers,

Jonathan Jimeno

Jonathan,

Welcome to the forum.

Things can be a little slow around here sometimes, so new blood is always welcome.
