A new forum for training, called Twin Screw University, has been developed by Extrusioneering International, Inc.

Twin Screw U, as we affectionately call it, provides on-site training for co-rotating twin screw extruders to the front-line operators, supervisors and engineers in compounding plants. We bring the training during off-shift hours, in the middle of the night, on weekends, even alongside the production lines in order to make it efficient for companies to train their employees and at a low cost.

Companies have invested heavily to advance the sophistication of their hardware but have not been responsive the the increased needs from those who operate such automated compounding lines. As a result, lots of scrap, low yields, etc.

Twin Screw University is also planning to present this same training in short-course format locally near you, several times throughout the year. Again, the objective is to make training less painful for employers. Local training programs means less time away from the plant, no travel expenses, etc...The schedule for 2004 has not yet been finalized. Contact our website for more information: www.b4uextrude.com
