We have a PVC extrusion powder that is caking on our feed augers. the problem is somewhat intermittant but may be related to higher volume runs that require high volume feeding. theories range from heat breaking down the lube pkg in the material (wax, etc) thus sticking/caking onto the feed auger. another is moisture backing up from the twin screw extruders the causing caking. any idea's/solutions would be greatly appreciated. thanks, tyler
