The Position
The Film Extrusion Manager will direct and coordinate the activities of the blown film extrusion and lamination/slitting production departments in processing materials and manufacturing products. This Manager will monitor safety, quality standards, department costs, and employee relations to ensure department goals and customer needs are achieved. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Film Extrusion Manager will support long term business objectives by providing leadership, project management skills, analytical skills, and procedural guidance. In addition, the Manager will support manufacturing operations, processes, and new developments, as well as develop and implement procedural and productivity improvement programs and ensure sound Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs (TPM).

Candidate Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Plastics, or Chemical), plus at least 3 – 7 years of manufacturing and management experience. Additional qualifications include:
• Blown film extrusion or similar experience
• Ability to work flexible hours to support a 24/7 facility
• Proficiency with MS Suite products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Continuous Improvement/Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Problem solving/resolution skills
• “Team Player”
• Employee Development & Involvement
• Strong leadership ability
• Root Cause Problem Solving
• Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) is a plus

Compensation
Our client offers a competitive compensation package in the $75K - $95K range, depending upon experience, plus a personal/company performance bonus. They also offer a complete benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and flexible spending account, as well as a 401k program.
